CCR Question 2 Script
I just completed the script for question 2 of my CCR:
How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?
"My magazine engages with the audience of young women through its aesthetic design. I took inspiration from the Tik Tok videos that women posting their daily routine, which tend to include beige and white tones and calming approaches, as I mentioned earlier. I also sought to engage with my audience by including interviews with other young women and teens, like my “What’s in My Bag?” article, which I wrote as if the magazine sent out a survey for teens to fill out with pictures and details about their must-have fitness products. I actually took inspiration from Vogue’s “In the Bag” videos for this article, which are widely popular among my audience. Vogue puts out YouTube videos of celebrities showing viewers the contents of their bag, and I thought it would be cute to relate this to fitness. I also included screenshots of where to find each product with the price, as I have seen in magazines like in this page of a Vogue article:

I also included links with each image, as I would want to make a digital version of this magazine.
Women’s Health Magazine is also digital and physical, using influencers to promote their content and making profit from promoting products. Since young women are very active on social media, I think that using influencers to advertise the magazine, as well as including ads on sites like Tik Tok and Instagram could be useful in promoting the content. Social media is especially useful in that it knows a lot about its users. The ads will pop up especially for women who show an interest in fitness, therefore advertising very specifically and effectively."
