Building the Physical Magazine

Today I started building my magazine. A typical magazine is either 8.5 in by 5.5 in or 8.5 in by 11in. So that I am able to better fit graphics and text, I will be using size 8.5 by 11 inches. In many magazines I have seen, the title is streamlined and classy with a person slightly in front of the title, but I'll take my images later. Some good fonts I found are Metanoia (with 129 spacing), Perandory, Sefira March, and GFS Didot. I'll be staying away from anything cursive or illegible.

Here, I have created part of a template for my title page using one of the images from my mood board, which I will be replacing with an image of myself or one of my friends. I have used the font GFS Didot.

Next, I will be brainstorming some article ideas to put around the subject.
